The British-Israeli firm secured the win at the 13th Sacyr Foundation Innovation Awards, with theirs being the best out of more than 200 proposals.

Today we announced the launch of the 6th edition of our open innovation program, Sacyr iChallenges. This initiative encompasses innovation, technology, and cooperation to answer to three business challenges issued by Sacyr, in collaboration with members of the innovation community.

We have held the 7th edition of the Natural Innovators Awards, that honor innovation, sustainability, teamwork, spirit of overcoming and excellence practices in our employees.

• The Ministry for Science and Innovation recognizes our “business model based on innovation and a new vision on infrastructure and services delivery”.

We have closed the call for proposals for the fifth edition of Sacyr iChallenges, with a total 276 proposals for the four business challenges issued by the company. This represents a 13% increase compared to the 2021 edition.

Like every year for the past 12 years, the Sacyr Innovation Awards recognize stimulate and reward the innovation, creativity and ingenuity of hundreds of companies from the innovation ecosystem that submitted projects to the call of the Sacyr iChallenges.

The Portuguese firm won the first prize of our open innovation program, with a project for the valuation and management of natural capital. Germany's Heliatek won second prize.
